Denmark caps bonuses at 1000 kroner and 10x. we get 450% and 40x. which of us is being looked after

That's the actual trade, and it's worth being honest that it is one rather than pretending either side is obviously right. Denmark decided a bonus which can't realistically be cleared is a misleading product, so they capped the size and the wagering until the offer became a real thing rather than a marketing number. The price is that the offers are small and dull. So alternative is our market, where the headline can be anything at all provided the terms are technically published somewhere. Livelier, and the liveliness is the mechanism. Neither of those is free.

Same, and rakeback for the same reason - it pays on turnover rather than losses, so it comes whether you're up or down. Check it's really wager free at your site though. Some places attach playthrough to cashback and at that point it's a bonus wearing a better name.

but has anyone actually seen their offers improve here since the duty went up? mine have got noticeably worse and i assumed it was just me being restricted

frankly speaking quite opposite... bonus spend is the first thing cut when margin tightens because its the only cost they can switch off overnight
what you get instead is more cashback and more loyalty points. cheaper for them, feels like something, doesn't need a big headline

and that's the thread in one line! 450% offer isn't generosity, it's a signal. it says the operator needs deposits badly enough to buy them at a price a stable business wouldn't pay. treat the size of an offer as a risk indicator rather than a benefit and you'll be right more often than you're wrong
dull 100% match from somewhere that's been running eight years is the better product and it will never once look like it

or its a new site buying market share, which is what every new business in every industry does

sometimes. and you find out which one it was at the withdrawal screen

is there a short version? i've got three offers sat in my inbox and i don't fancy four pages of terms for each one

wagering number, whether its bonus only or deposit and bonus, and the expiry. that's what i check now
theres' a 4th one and i cant remember what it is

Max cashout, and it's the one that costs people the most. Plenty of bonuses cap your winnings at a multiple of the bonus regardless of what you actually win. Clear the wagering, win two grand, walk away with whatever the cap says.

Four things, all findable in under a minute. And if any of the four isn't stated plainly, that's your answer about the operator and you don't need the other three.
