what's the deal with Buy Bonuses on slots?

whats the actual math on these? are you better off just spinning normally or buying the bonus round?

honestly no difference. rtp stays the same whether you buy bonus or spin to it
gates is 96.5% either way. sweet bonanza 96.51%. the buy just costs 100x your stake upfront

feels worse than grinding there naturally even though the math is identical

@Mallorca thats the problem right there. buying 50 bonuses means you spent 5000x your bet just on bonus rounds
unless you hit multiple massive wins youre gonna be down bad. max win is 5000x so youd need to hit that just to break even ffs
something changed in industry much harder to hit something worht mentionin

Yeah UKGC banned bonus buys few years back. Can only buy them on offshore sites now. All the Pragmatic slots just have locked buy buttons in UK.

thats why i use vpn mate. bought 20 bonuses on sweet bonanza yesterday offshore and they all seemed dead
barelyhit any 100x bombs. max win on that is 21100x but ive never seen anyone get close

That's just variance mate. Bonus rounds are predetermined same as normal spins. Doesn't matter how you trigger them, the result is already decided by RNG.

yeah which is probably better for your bankroll anyway, bonus buying sessions usually end in tears. much easier to blow through money quickly
