Sure Kenny UK promotions are different for sure - less "risk-free bet" style promos, while more enhanced odds I'd say also there is accumulator insurance. In general thre's less aggressive bonus terms overall. You see UK Gambling Commission has stricter rules on promotions so you won't see the same level of bonus offers as US books.
