48 would be my read but i wouldn't put money on it. the settlement figure describes the licensed estate at the point they were reviewed and that review covered 2024 into 2025, so the 51 is almost certainly historic
 
I wouldn't state either figure with confidence. The settlement names 51 across the three entities and the closures happened after the review period, but whether the 51 was current at publication or carried forward from the assessment isn't something the notice makes clear.

It matters less than it looks, though. The audit they've agreed to applies to how the policies are implemented across the estate, whatever its size this week.
 
crypto line in those findings is the one i keep going back to. from what i can make out their process basically needed the crypto to have been turned into pounds through a proper bank account first, and after that it was in. one customer funded that way and it didnt even push him up a risk rating when their own policy said it should have. all the arguing we do in here about whether crypto sites ask enough questions, and the building was the soft option
