limited to £3.47 max at bet365 sports after three good months, is this even legal??

liquidity. exchange markets on lower profile events or player props are often too thin to get meaningful size on. for main lines on major fixtures it works well. for the kind of niche analysis that tends to generate edge it often isnt deep enough. the two tools serve different purposes.

Massachusetts Gaming Commission is also reviewing limiting practices. Wyoming data showed fewer than 1% of accounts limited, mostly for bonus abuse rather than performance. Whether that's representative of larger competitive markets is unclear - Wyoming is not New Jersey.

wyoming data is close to meaningless for this discussion. small market, lower volume, less sophisticated player base. the limiting problem concentrates in high-volume competitive markets where actual sharp money operates. that's where accounts go to £3.47

the other thing nobody mentions is one-sided markets. dk and fd regularly offer bets on one side only. you can back overs on a player prop with no under available. theyr'e not even offering a market. they're offering a lottery ticket at their chosen price with zero market correction possible.limiting winners is just one piece of a much uglier picture

you know whats actually messed up. i have given these books more money than i can comfortably think about. i am not a threat to anyone. i am their IDEAL customer. and yet the guys who figured out how to actually win get cut to twelve dollars while i can deposit unlimited. if this was really about fair market principles they'd limit the losers too. cap me at five bucks per bet and maybe id still have a relationship with my bank account. fair is fair

they'd limit the losers too
there's actually a real argument in there. if books set universal max stakes per market rather then customer-specific ones, sharps and squares plya on identical terms. then you find out which books can survive running good lines rather than good customer profiling. my guess is most of them couldn't.
