ok people honestly I don't play there myself but been keeping half an eye on these shutdowns and the luckyland one has a proper deadline attached so worth flagging
purchases stopped on the 3rd, games go off on the 24th, and you cant submit a redemption after sept 14. that's it, account gone after that
reason i'm posting is the money factory just went dark on sunday. their site says balances and pending redemptions are "recorded and preserved" which is a lot of words that aren't "we will pay you". coinfrenzy at least gave people till sept 25

so if you've got sc sitting there don't wait for the 24th

nevada's been on their blocked list forever so i've never had an account there, but the advice holds for any of these
first redemption is where they hit you with verification, not before. if you haven't done ID yet do it TODAY not on the 23rd. i sat 10 days on a payout once purely because i left verification til after i requested

sweeps was always monopoly money lmaooo
been saying it for years, if you cant withdraw it same day its not your money 💀

There's a real distinction people keep missing here, so worth setting out properly.
LuckyLand Slots and LuckyLand Casino are two separate platforms. Same brand name, different products. LuckyLand Casino only launched last November and it isn't going anywhere. It's LuckyLand Slots, the original one that's been running eight years, that's closing.

Also worth separating the two currencies:
  • Gold Coins have no cash value at all. Whatever GC balance you have when it shuts, that's simply gone and there's nothing to recover.
  • Sweeps Coins redeem 1:1 for cash. Those are the ones with a deadline attached.
So the only number that matters to you is your SC balance. If it's under the site's redemption minimum you may not be able to move it at all, which is the part nobody warns about.

Chumba and Global Poker are unaffected. Different brands under the same parent.

I've been logging these for a while now. Pattern across every wind down I've tracked is the same, redemption queue gets slower the closer you get to the cutoff because everyone requests at once
Request early = normal processing and request in the last week = you're in a pile

Monitoring state-level stuff for a while, so have some context to share on why this keeps happening rather than just this one closure.
Over the past year New Jersey, New York, Indiana, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Tennessee have all enacted bans or effective bans on the dual-currency model. The VGW brands currently list fourteen restricted territories - California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia. That list has only grown. They also wound up in Canada last year.
The thing I'd point out is that closures aren't always exits. Kickr shut down in March after a cease and desist from Louisiana, and the same parent company launched a different product shortly after that doesn't call itself a sweepstakes casino. Fliff has applied for a prediction market licence. The model is being reworked, not abandoned.
Which is why I'd treat "recorded and preserved" language with real caution. It isn't a commitment to pay.

Sixty dollars is sixty dollars.

@laura_BETTS practical version - check your playthrough before you request anything. SC usually carry a 1x playthrough and if you haven't cleared it the request gets rejected. That's the single most common reason redemptions get denied, it's not the site being difficult.
Then get your ID and proof of address in now. Every platform that says it doesn't need documents needs documents the moment you try to take money out. I have never once seen an exception to that.

cheers lads, im uk so whats the actual difference between this and a normal casino? is it just that you cant deposit

you buy the fake coins and get the real ones free with it so technically ur not gambling ur entering a sweepstake. thats the loophole. states are killing it one by one now
also their ceo quit in july so make of that what u want

honestly cant get worked up about this. cant touch any of it from here anyway. what does wind me up is you couldn't play half the decent stuff on those sites even when they worked. the pragmatic lineup this month is actually decent for once and none of it was ever going near a sweeps lobby ffs

@sufferinsilence agreed august has been alright actually. jade legends is a 7x7 cluster thing, 20000x, been having a proper go at it
harvest moon one dropped thursday too. spooky farm, gold wilds up to 1000x. bit gimmicky but it plays fine
hang on tho going back to the above - if games stop on the 24th how do you redeem after that?? thats 9 days

@Steven93 you redeem without playing. the account stays open for withdrawals until the 14th, you just cant spin anymore after the 24th. two separate dates doing two separate jobs.
worth saying the operator statement muddied this themselves, they described it as closing the brand on 24 aug while the player email gives 14 sept for final redemption requests. both are technically accurate about different things and that is exactly why half this thread is confused.

on the releases - jade legends is 96.50% but check what your site is actually running before you get excited about any of these numbers

August calendar is the strongest it's been in a while, I'll give it that. Viking Runecraft 1000 is the one worth paying attention to. Six by five, scatter pays, eight or more matching symbols anywhere. The multiplier ladder runs fifteen stages from 2x all the way to 1000x and they carry over sticky through the free spins. Sixty thousand times max win, which is well above what most studios are shipping this year.
Bit of a con with the Go Ultra toggle mind. Costs you an extra 50% of your stake to bump a triggered multiplier one level. Do that maths over a session and see how you feel about it.
