But you're right that its not official regulation. Its a voluntary standard that casinos can choose to meet.
There's always be a way to avoid/abuse regulation restrictions and obviously government can't see all shady stuff and react fast enough and that's when you want CM check.
Both UKGC and CMa matter, but for different reasons.
