just seen the news about Terry Rozier being investigated by the feds... same crew that got Jontay Oorter banned for life. crazy tbh
anyone else remember that hornets game in march 2023? when Rozier left after 1st quarter w/ "foot injury"? load of bollocks if u ask me
starting to wonder who we can trust anymore. if players making 100mil+ are shaving points what hope do the rest of us have

The statistical patterns were obvious in retrospect. Rozier's prop lines that night:
  • 21.5 points (season avg: 21.1)
  • 6 assists (season avg: 5.1)
  • 4 rebounds
Multiple books reportedly stopped taking action on his props hours before tip-off. That's a massive red flag that retail bettors missed.
The WSJ report indicates this connects to the Porter conspiracy, which involved an $80K bet to win $1.1M on unders. Scale suggests organized operation.

nah bro ur overanalyzing players get hurt all the time
rozier been solid his whole career why would he risk 50mil+ left on his contract for some betting scheme?? makes no sense

Been tracking unusual line movements for years - this specific game had all the hallmarks:
- Massive action on player unders
- Books pulling props pre-game
- Social media chatter about "inside info"
If Porter gave his co-conspirators info about Rozier a year earlier, that's conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Same crime Porter already pled guilty to

lads been saying sports gone to shit since betting became legal everywhere
used to just be about the game right? now every bloody play has money riding on it. rozier probably knew exactly what his prop numbers were during that timeout
disappointing if true. thought the nba was cleaner than football

this is so messy like imagine having THAT much money and still wanting more?? but also kinda crazy that some random bettors on x were calling it sus immediately. the people knew something was off

my bf was going crazie about that exact game when it happened. said something felt wrong about rozier leaving so early with no real injury report
he lost money on some parlay that night and kept saying the whole thing was "shady af". guess he was right for once lol
makes u wonder how many other games had weird stuff happening that we just wrote off as bad luck

fucking new it!!`
been saying for months that sports betting feels rigged since legalization. too many "coincidences" where star players have off nights right when the public hammers there overs
if rozier did this shit then how many others are doing it??? makes me sick thinking about all the money ive lost on "sure thing' props

For sports bettors, federal investigation reveals sophisticated manipulation targeting prop markets. Key red flags to watch:
  1. Props pulled from boards pre-game
  2. Unusual line movement without news
  3. Social media "insider" claims
  4. Late injury reports with vague symptoms
The Porter-Rozier connection suggests organized network. Stay vigilant on player props especially.

slotking cheers mate good one

ridiculous that we need those "red flags" to avoid getting scammed by the bloody players themselves. what happened to just playing the game right? starting to think the locals bookies were more honest than these apps n websites lol

market analysis shows coordinated manipulation targeting specific bet types
porter case involved unders on player performance, well same thing with rozier props march 2023
investigation expanding to college basketball suggests systematic exploitation across multiple levels also sophisticated operation using inside information to gain unfair advantage in prop betting markets

sorry if this is dumb question but how would this rozier even know what his prop numbers were during the game? like do players actually check there betting lines?? seems like that would be against rules

@ANNA K., it's not a dumb question at all. NBA rules prohibit players from:
  • Betting on any NBA games
  • Providing inside information to bettors
  • Associating with known gamblers
However, prop bet information is publicly available. Players can easily check their lines on any sportsbook app.
The violation isn't knowing the numbers - it's deliberately underperforming to help conspirators win bets.

From my sources within the industry, this investigation is far broader than just Rozier and Porter.
Federal prosecutors are examining systematic manipulation across multiple sports. The coordination required suggests this isn't isolated incidents but organized criminal enterprise.
Temple University pointshaving under investigation as well. College players making zero dollars are even more vulnerable to corruption.
