Fake gambling streamers!! Beware!!!

I think more people should know about this. It might seem obvious to experienced gamblers here, but newcomers might not realize it.

So, what's the deal? You've probably seen streams where someone plays slots. These streams are usually sponsored by the casino hosting the games. The casino pays the streamer and funds their account. They know exactly who the streamer is and when they'll be playing.

These streamers often hit big wins, which seems too good to be true. Casinos state in their terms that playing with "fun money" doesn't have the same randomness as playing with real money. In other words, fun money games are set up to show more flashy wins. Streamers, who don't use their own money, might be getting similar treatment. This makes viewers think they can win big, but that's rarely the case when playing with real money.

I've tried to warn my friends who want to start gambling, but not many people seem to be aware. What about you? Have you or your friends experienced this?

Y'all are missing the point. Even if some streamers are legit, the fact that we can't tell the real from the fake is the problem. It's predatory, period.
