Best betting sites in New York?

Hello forum dwellers. Who can tell me, what sports betting sites are legal in New York? Are there any? What do you use for sports betting? I am ok with offshore bookies if they pay . But teach me how to use them than. I never used cryptofor betting, but I am ok to learn how. Any tips and lifehacks are appreciated. Thank you for your time and advice.

Yo Grut! Welcome to the forum! NY actually has legal sports betting now. FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM - they're all licensed there. But the odds aren't great compared to offshore books tbh.

@Grut if you're in NY, definitely try the legal sites first. They might have worse odds but at least your money is 100% safe. Plus they usually have sick welcome bonuses for new players.

The legal NY sites usually have -110 lines where offshore might give you -105. Doesn't sound like much but it adds up! As for tracking, they mostly look for unusual withdrawal/deposit patterns or if you're using the same device/IP for multiple sites.

NFL and NBA are perfect for starting out! huge markets, lots of stats available, easier to research. just stay away from player props when ur new

@Grut, since you're new to this, here's a basic guide to getting started in NY:

1. Start with ONE legal book. I'd recommend FanDuel - best app interface imo
2. Learn basic bet types: spreads, moneylines, totals
3. Don't touch parlays yet (I know they're tempting)
4. Set a strict bankroll and stick to it
5. Keep track of ALL your bets in a spreadsheet
6. Never chase losses

Take it slow, there's no rush!
