AskGamblers protecting casinos and rejecting legitimate complaints?

fine heres part of what i wrote for the review:
"RiverSlots is a scam operation. They deliberately delay withdrawals hoping you'll gamble it back. Support ignores you for days then gives copy-paste responses. When I finally built up decent balance they locked my account claiming irregular betting which is complete bullshit because all i did was play different slots. They stole £340 from me and I want people to know what kind of criminals run this place!"

thats the "emotional language" version. then i rewrote it all calm and factual and they still rejected it so clearly the problem isn't my tone

mate i hate to say it but that first version definitely sounds too angry for a review site. calling them "criminals" and "scam operation" without proof is why they rejected it. look even if its true you cant just accuse casinos of crimes without evidence backing that claim

hold on though OP said thet rewrote it factual and STILL got rejected so the emotional version explains first rejection but doesnt explain second and third rejectoins right?

this whole thing is impossible to judge without seeing all three versions of the review and knowing what riverslots actual terms say about betting patterns like:
  • could be OP violated T&C and doesn't realize it
  • could be casino scammed them
  • could be review site protecting casino
  • could be review site following legitimate moderation policy
not enough information to know who"s right here

ok fine there's more context. im in UK and RiverSlots is offshore. i was on gamstop but wanted to play so went for it
amnd yeah i know that was dumb. but casino still shouldn't lock my account and keep my balance. and askgamblers still shouldn't reject legitimate complaint just because i bypassed self exclusion

you were on gamstop and went to unlicensed casino to bypass it??? 😑 duuuude

THERE IT IS 😭
so you self-excluded for gambling problems then deliberately went to shady offshore casino to get around it and NOW you're shocked they scammed you??? bb this is literally what unlicensed casinos exist for - people avoiding regulations. of course they gonna scam you lol
also askgamblers probably rejected your review because you admitted breaking self-exclusion which makes the whole thing messy

@fluffy not helping
yeah op played it dumb but casino still stole £340 and review site wont let him warn others. both those things are wrong regardless of gamstop

anyway askgamblers're RIGHT to reject this review! if @Cannibal_Island admits that bypassed legal self-exclusion to play at unlicensed casino then complained when it went bad... that's not really a legitimate consumer complaint is it?
like you deliberately avoided regulations then want regulatory protection when things go wrong. cant have it both ways folks

everyone piling on OP for the gamstop thing but missing the point... i agree it was bad decision and yes self-exclusion bypass shows addiction issues. but does that mean casino gets to steal his money? does that mean askgamblers should protect scam casino?
honestly feels like victim blaming to me

The self-exclusion context is relevant because it potentially explains both casino behavior and review rejection. Casinos can refuse service to self-excluded players even from other jurisdictions. Review sites might reject complaints from users who admit to violating rules since it muddies the legal waters. Listen not sayin' its right just explaining possible reasoning

system obviously favoring operators over players. understandable platforms dependent on casino advertising revenue face pressure to suppress negative coverage while amplifying positive signals regardless of authenticity
i mean self-exclusion factor introduces additional legal complexity but doesn't fundamentally alter the structural conflict of interest

i didn't mention gamstop in the review at all. just focused on withdrawal delays and account lock. but yeah i got taht maybe askgamblers checked my location and decided not to publish UK player complaining about unlicensed site. i dunno honestly
still feels like they're protecting riverslots though by keeping praises and shut up others 🤐

Practical reality: AskGamblers probably won't change decision regardless of further attempts. Legal complexity of self-exclusion bypass makes this impossible friend. Better to post detailed warning here and other forums where legal status doesn't matter. Your experience could help others avoid same mistake and tell bout both scam casino AND the self-exclusion bypass

told you guys its not conspiracy lol obviosly review sites have to protect their reputation and cant just publish any complaint especially when involves violations. sucks for @Cannibal_Island but understand why they rejected it

still think u'd have checked license before depositing but thats just me 🤷‍♂️
live and learn i guess..
