65 bil this year. remind me again how the regulators killed crypto casinos

Liquidity. USDC runs at roughly a third of USDT's depth on most exchanges, so spreads are wider and big movements cost more. And outside Europe nobody wants it. In Asia and Latin America USDT adoption is enormous and USDC barely registers, so an operator switching entirely would abandon its biggest depositor base to satisfy a market that isn't its biggest.
There's also the rail itself. USDT on Tron settles in seconds for almost nothing, and that's why it became the default casino deposit method in the first place. Whatever replaces it has to beat that on cost and speed, not just on paperwork.

Tested this properly rather than guessing at it. Same site, same account, two withdrawals last week. usdt trc20 landed in under four minutes. usdc on the same platform took nineteen and cost more in network fees

That's one site so don't build a religion on it but everyone talking about this like its purely a compliance question is skipping the bit where one of them is just faster

19 minutes is nothing. its the withdrawals that never arrive at all that end you and none of them show up in anyones average

No argument. That's a different measurement and i don't have a clean way to do it

day 34. documents in three times now. latest line is that the review is with a specialist team and theres no timeframe they can give me

Specialist team with no timeframe usually means source of funds, not identity. Different beast and it takes longer. If they haven't asked you for it yet, get ahead of it. Bank statements covering your deposits, and something showing where that money came from. Send it before the next request rather than after.

And for everyone reading who isn't in his position yet: every platform advertising itself as KYC-free will ask for documents the moment you try to take out anything meaningful. I've been looking for an exception for years and I have never found one. The no-KYC part is about signup, not withdrawal.

Signup friction, that's it. Two clicks and you're playing instead of photographing a passport before you've decided if you like the place. It's sold as privacy. It isn't privacy. It's a delay in when the paperwork happens.

and the thing that decides how bad it goes is whether you verified before you won or after.10 days i sat on a payout once for exactly that reason. ten minutes on day one when you don't care, ten days when you do

Or the whole "instant withdrawal" category is marketing and the monthly top ten rankings are bought, every single one.
I saw one crowning a site nobody had heard of. Five thousand games, no ID, money in minutes. Nobody had heard of it because it launched about eight minutes earlier.

A new site paying fast isn't evidence of anything being bought. Paying fast is the cheapest reputation a new operator can buy and it costs them almost nothing while volumes are small.
The problem isn't that they're lying about the speed today. It's that speed at launch tells you nothing about speed at scale, and the ones that go wrong tend to go wrong around month fourteen.

that's the one thing he's said in two threads i actually agree with
the curve is real. the sites i tracked that went bad didn't start bad, they started generous. fast payouts, decent support, small delays creeping in around a year, then the excuses start arriving in matching wording across different peoples accounts

generosity at launch is an acquisition cost, not a personality

genuinely though. thread opens with 65bil and closes with verify your identity at a licensed venue and use the compliant coin
you lot have talked yourselves all the way back to a bank and you think you won the argument

still nobody answered my actual question about usdc balances except @Djamil so im jst goin to test it with 20euro like he said and report back. if it converts i'll post the results
