Am I the only one here who thinks maybe, just maybe, these limits aren't such a bad thing? @CulturalAttitude, mate, 250k is a lot of dosh. Maybe take it as a sign to diversify your hobbies a bit?

@Tiger_Yo!, I appreciate the concern, but gambling is my hobby. Some people spend their money on fancy cars or holidays, I spend mine on the thrill of the bet. Each to their own, right?

@CulturalAttitude, if you're after that high-stakes thrill, why not give poker a go? Plenty of high-roller tables out there, both online and in casinos. It's a different kind of rush, but it might just scratch that itch.

@13e17, I appreciate the concern, but I'm all good. I know my limits, even if the UK government doesn't think I do. This is about the freedom to play how I want, not about being addicted or in trouble.

As someone who's worked in the industry, I can tell you those UK regulations didn't come out of nowhere. They're a response to some pretty grim statistics about problem gambling. @CulturalAttitude, I'm not here to preach, but maybe see this as an opportunity to reevaluate?

genEric is spot on. CulturalAttitude, if you do find a casino without limits, triple-check their license and reputation. There are some right sharks out there waiting to take advantage of players looking to dodge regulations.
