arsenal vs psg - who are you backing and what are you putting on it

interesting point nobody's talking about. arsenal's UCL goals conceded this season: 6 in 14. PSG's UCL goals conceded in knockouts alone: 7. they've been leaky at the back at the same time as being prolific up front. this final might actually be decided at the defensive end

Agreed. And that's exactly why Under 2.5 at 2.10 is the cleanest bet regardless of which side you're backing. A 1-0 or 2-1 covers both directions.

ok putting £30 on arsenal because the narrative is too good not to be part of it. 22 years, one final ever, now this. if they win this i am streaming the reaction live regardless of what time it is 😸

half the internet will be doing the same. this final has a different feeling to it. something about the underdog thing even though arsenal have been the best team in the tournament by record

ok might be stupid but if PSG are the favorites and have scored so many goals, why are so many people betting Arsenal? Is it just sentiment or is there actual value?

guess both are contributing. the sentiment money has moved Arsenal from 2.50+ to 2.20 post-EPL win. the actual value argument is: Arsenal's defensive record in this tournament is historically exceptional. Opta and similar models have this closer to 50/50 than the market's 60/40. there's a genuine case for Arsenal being underpriced. but it's thin enough that i wouldn't go heavy.

honest answer is nobody knows. anyone who tells you they know who wins a cup final is selling something

psg knocked arsenal out in the semis last year. home and away. people are surprised they're favorites. football fans man

different arsenal this year. gyokeres wasn't there. eze wasn't thre. different team different season

Gyokeres point is valid. He brings a physicality and directness in the final third that Arsenal have not had before. PSG's centre backs have not faced anything like him in this tournament.

c"mon im still on PSG. still 100% confident. kvaratskhelia alone gives me that. man scored three goals against chelsea in the r16 alone. three

Just to summarize everyone with actual analytical basis is either on PSG or Under 2.5. Everyone betting Arsenal is doing so partly for narrative reasons. Both are legitimate approaches. Neither guarantees anything.

yeah cheers mate very helpful lol

btw does anyone know why they moved the kickoff to 5pm BST this year. these things are usually 8pm
yeah heard it was a UEFA decision. something about improving the fan experience in the city after the match. practically means half of england is going to be watching it from a work computer on a friday afternoon
