AGA projecting $1.39B in legal Super Bowl betting volume. Key data points:
- NY ($183M) potentially overtaking NV ($170M) first time
- 38 states + DC now legal
- Mobile betting dominance continuing
- Previous Super Bowl comparison: $1.25B

Anyone seeing interesting line movements frm this volume distribution?

First time betting in NY... seeing some wild line movements compared to previous years in Vegas. Anyone else notice books struggling with regional bias?

Historical betting volume progression (billions):
2020: $0.3
2021: $0.5
2022: $0.914
2023: $1.07
2024: $1.25
2025: $1.39 (projected)

Clear exponential growth pattern. Analyzing mobile vs retail:
  • Mobile: 72%
  • Retail: 18%
  • Other: 10%
Significant shift from traditional betting patterns.

Anyone else worried about payment processing with this volume? Last year's Super Bowl had some serious delays

Important warning for Super Bowl bettors:
  1. Verify book limits BEFORE game day
  2. Expected payment processing delays
  3. Regional odds variations significant
  4. Props showing unusual variance
DM for detailed analysis if needed.
@slotking sorry if dumb question, but why check limits before game day? Can't you just bet whenever?

Not a dumb question. Books often reduce limits near kickoff to manage liability. Some props might close early. Always better to get money in system early.
