My roulette table has two zeros on it and i didnt notice for a year

cheers, oh well since the thread started bout two zeros, here is the version I would hand a new player, in order of what it costs you.
  • which roulette wheel. One zero or walk away. Worth more than everything else here combined and it takes ten seconds.
  • which blackjack variant and its published RTP. The spread across one provider's own blackjack tables is around two and a half percent.
  • real min on the table you want, which is frequently not the minimum the site advertises.
  • max if you play big. Private tables can want four figures in the account before they let you sit.
  • ours on the tables you care about, especially language tables.
Pros of the branded dedicated sites: lower mins, better service, hosts who know you, tables actually open when you want them.
Cons: the lobby is arranged to keep you on their tables, and theirs are not always the best priced in the building.

thats cheap for a private table honestly. in person you''d want a lot more than that in front of you before anyone opens one

whats struck me reading all of this is that nearly everything we treat as a property of the game turns out to be a property of the deal
the wheel, the minimum, the hours, the language, the branding, which tables load first. all of it bought or negotiated somewhere you cant see, and none of it visible from the lobby
the one thing you can check yourself in 10 seconds is how many zeros are on the layout. which is probably why its the only one worth being angry about

One thing to add to my own figures before anyone quotes them at a casino. Those three numbers are for a straight up bet paying 35 to 1 and they hold for nearly everything on a standard layout. There is an exception on the American wheel where one of the combination bets is worse than the rest, which @bill_collins already flagged.

And on a French wheel there is a rule that halves your loss on the even money bets when zero lands, which makes red or black on that table better than 2.70%. I am going from memory on the exact effect so somebody check me, but if your site has a French table and you only bet red or black, that is the cheapest roulette in the building and it will be buried four rows down.

For the record, still nothing published on whether catalogues differ by operator. Everything solid in this thread has been limits, hours, language, branding and which wheel.

x@nter's actual question, why his mate has tables he doesn't, has not been answered. Four plausible reasons and no way to pick between them from outside.

honestly thats fine. came in asking about a missing baccarat table and leaving knowing which wheel to check, which is the better trade

and im still going to play the double zero wheel when im sat in front of one, for the record. nobody in this thread has said anything i didnt already know about it. im not defending the tile saying Roulette. thats a fair complaint and catmat is right about it. im defending the game

Well I still think a site offering both and labeling them the same is indefensible, whatever either of us thinks of the wheel. We are not going to close the gap on this one. You are talking about a game somebody chose and I am talking about a game somebody was handed.

Well I was handed it, so thats me settled on which of you Im agreeing with. Still playing tonight mind. Just two rows further down the list
