banks suppose to pay from 9 to 14 october. yet nothing in my acount sp far. i had 2.840 reais sitting there when they closed everything on the 6th. i tryed to take it out on the 5th like everyone said and the withdraw just spinned and spinned and then the site was gone
anyone in brazil actually recieved? or we all waiting

cmon guys, it took mine out on the 2nd soon as i saw the news. so anyone who waited until the 5th deserve what they get honestly. the whole country trying to withdraw on the same night what did you think would happen

i tryed on the 2nd also. and the 3rd. it was already slow then

Worth knowing what the measure actually obliges them to do, because the window isn't as generous as it sounds. MP 1.394 was signed on 25 September and bit on publication - no new bets, no new deposits, same day. Operators had to hand the banks a list of balances against each bettor's taxpayer number on 7-8 October. Banks then have seven days from receiving that list, which is where the 9-14 range comes from.

So you're not waiting on a single national switch being flipped. You're waiting on whichever bank your operator used, and they each got their list at a slightly different moment. If nothing has landed by the 14th, Caixa is supposed to step in and facilitate. What that means in practice, I genuinely don't know - the text says very little about it.

by the way part nobody talks about is the open bets - i had three accumulators running on the weekend matches. all void. they refund the stake, no deductions, fine. but two of them were winning. settled bets you keep the prize. unsettled ones just disappear like they never happend. so the timing of when your bet resolved decides whether you won money or not

well right guys and this is the regulated market everyone keeps telling me to use - hell no!!! licensed, taxed, government approved while the government switched it off in one afternoon and voided your winning bets. no crypto site has ever done that to me ok

But has anyone here actually noticed that Stake is still open? Every other operator in Brazil went dark on the 6th. Stake went to a federal court in Sao Paulo, got an injunction, and is taking bets today. Right now. While this man waits for his two thousand eight hundred reais. Like one company. One judge. And everyone else can go home..

it's real but it's narrower than he's making it sound. stake asked the court to let them run until their licence expires in 2029. the judge gave them until 25 october and nothing more, which is the same date the MP already sets for authorisations to formally terminate. so they bought three weeks, not five years.
it came with twelve conditions attached as well - no new promotions, no campaigns to grow the user base, keep withdrawals working, hold enough money to cover every player balance, stay on the authorised domains only. it's a wind-down with the lights left on, not a reprieve.
and it applies to stake alone. nobody else can point at it.

honestly the thing that got me was how fast it all moved. lula announced on a friday. signed the 25th. no deposits from that same day. sites dark on the 6th. eleven days from announcement to my app being gone off my phone. i have had slower responses from support about a bonus

compare that to new zealand doing the same transition over about eighteen months with a licence auction and a transition period and everyone still complaining it's confusing. 11 days is not a policy it's a demolition

displacement numbers are already visible and they're quicker than i expected. one monitoring outfit counted 575 unauthorised sites aimed at brazil on the 26th of september. the day before that it was 311. so 244 new ones appeared inside 24 hours of lula confirming it
licensed traffic dropped about 74% in the first week. unlicensed traffic barely moved, stayed within about 11% of where it was. and activity per visitor on the unlicensed side went UP, as much as 40%
so fewer places, same people, playing harder
