Read article about UK arcade machines with £500 max jackpot. Each one makes £32k yearly. Also self exclusion basically doesnt work only 1 out of 14 arcades actually stopped excluded person entering. Must say it's worse than thought...

£32k annual revenue per machine with 90-92 percent RTP means these are fed approximately £320k-£350k yearly per terminal. That's substantial volume for machines in often empty looking arcades. Must be small number heavy users sustaining these.

It's simple math as those survive on problem gamblers. Same way as online where small percentage users provide majority revenue.

Self exclusion enforcement difficult in physical venues without mandatory ID checks. Online much easier to enforce. But yes 7% efficacy rate s terrific

Credit cycling is pernicious design. Small wins get folded back into credits so players keep spinning without realizing theyre grinding down against house edge. If they had to collect and reinsert coins each time, they’d see the real picture. Pretty smart in a twisted way.

100% mate old fruit machines kept winnings separate from credits. Had to cash out then make decision to put money back in. Modern design removes that decision point intentionally.

hmm never looked from that point so must admit thats really manipulative. no wonder people lose so much 😟

that's why im more into online ones atleast online you can see balance clearly. these arcade things with credits and holds and nudges confusing as hell by design
cmon guys ur overthinking here, its pretty comfy u know... real problem is really lowrtp tho

yup Merkur and Admiral arcades everywhere now. Every high street dead zone with bookies charity shops and these gambling places. Depressing state of uk towns.
