betfred fined 900k for NOT stopping someone losing 18 grand in a day. so which is it then

so realistically what changes for us. more automated popups mid session? tighter triggers? because thats where this ends up tho isn't it

900k tho. betfred group did £1.46b turnover in their last accounts, and that's the 78 week period so its not a clean annual number, but the online arm on its own was £563.6m of that. entain paid 17m in 2022 and wh nearly 20m the year after. this is a rounding error to them tho lets be honest

bet365 casino feeling noticeably worse in 2026 - is it just me or did something actually change???

that's a grim combination for anyone who plays on william hill or 888 going forward tho

bet365 casino feeling noticeably worse in 2026 - is it just me or did something actually change???

switched to betway for casino in march actually. offers are meaningfully better and game selection is similar. kept bet365 for football betting because the live markets are better there. but the casino product on bet365 has been declining for a while and this year it feels like they've basically...

aviator still not back on any uk licensed site - 9 months since suspension, 3 since license restored what is actually happening

been on JetX since Nov and the 25000x ceiling is theoretical and i've never seen anything close to it but knowing it's there does something for the session experience. plays smoother than i expected. if aviator came back tomorrow i'd probably stay on JetX tho,id say transition wasn't painful

alberta igaming july 13 - what are you registering with first and what to expect

interesting watching this from the UK. we went through similar in terms of multiple operators entering a market simultaneously except our market consolidated gradually rather than having a specific launch date. the ontario model with a hard date was cleaner from a consumer clarity standpoint...

are no kyc crypto casinos actually no kyc or is it just the marketing headline

also worth adding that not everyone moving offshore from germany is going to fully anonymous no kyc sites. a lot are going to malta-licensed operators that happen to accept german players. regulated, licensed, just not under german rules. there's a midddle ground the offshore vs regulated...

are no kyc crypto casinos actually no kyc or is it just the marketing headline

was seriously considering going offshore earlier this year because of the uk popup situation. the no kyc angle appealed a lot. read through about twenty reviews before doing anything and the pattern conker describes was exactly what i kept finding. smooth for deposits and small withdrawals then...

when did playing for fun stop being actually true for you

look mate i get what you''re asking but honestly this sounds like therapy talk. this is a gambling forum. everyone here gambles because they like it and they know the risks. if ur losing too much take a break. if the break doesn't work take a longer one. doesn't need to be a whole philosophical...

Does casino license actually protect you or is it just a logo?

basically confirms what i already suspected. the license is mostly so they can say they have one. the actual protection comes from whether the operator has an incentive to pay you

Does casino license actually protect you or is it just a logo?

on a lot of the crypto sites there's no recognizable license at all or one that's basically decorative. i've accepted that as a trade off. no license means no recourse but it also means no source of wealth requests and no affordability popups. made my peace with the risk

these popups has genuinely gotten out of hnd

yup this is what happened to me i moved a chunk of my play offshore last year. no popups, no source of wealth requests, no cooling off periods. also no recourse if they close with my bslance but you weigh it up

sportsbook apps have turned into bloody arcades haven't they

sportsbooks are becoming entertainment apps, probably by design, probably has measurable effects on behavior, arsenal are winning the league, and geordiecolin's builder died in the 90th plus four with osula's goal already banked. using my £2 mission free bet on man utd to win the champions...

sportsbook apps have turned into bloody arcades haven't they

hadn't thought about it going the other way. makes sense though. my local casino had a leaderboard screen for the slot players when i was in last month which struck me as a bit odd at the time. anyway checked back on the bet365 missions - apparently rolled out to uk accounts sometime in march...
