    gambling grows in China

prob stick with macau model which gives them reason to deny while still benefiting from the revenue. big plus macau generates way more per capita than anywhere else. why mess with whats working right

    gambling grows in China

i see so beijing tolerates it as long as it stays contained in macau. seems like tax revenue alone probably worth hundreds of millions to government. hard to argue with that kind of money i assume

    gambling grows in China

just read that macau casino revenue hit record $2.76bil in august. thats highest since before covid and analysts saying it could reach $31.8bil for the year. crazy how much money flows through there considering its basically the only legal gambling in china. anyone think this growth is sustainable?

amatic slots rtp variance or manipulation

the beauty of amatic is exactly that bro - they're not designed for huuge wins. they're proper grinding slots for people who want to play for hours without huge swings. timekiller if you want. hot fruits 40 is my breakfast slot lol it's low stakes steady play while drinking coffee is my relief

moved to finland any advice for casinos there and regulations should know

yeah and finland has mandatory loss limits even on the monopoly - €500 daily €2k monthly €15k yearly. dunno if that affects international sites tho the new licensing system supposed to have 22% tax rate which is pretty steep compared to other countries

    Netherlands raised €2m fines now

well great looks like netherlands going full authoritarian on gambling industry but it will be interesting to see which operators bail vs ones try to comply. my guess is smaller sites gone by end of year

    Netherlands raised €2m fines now

looks like dutch KSA new fine structure is big. they can now fine operators up to €2 MILLION for violations.well it used to be much lower but they've gone proper hardcore. 5 different categories now ranging from €500k to €2kk. apparently money laundering stuff gets automatic max fine if anyone...

UK operators getting hammered by new £100mil levy

the annoying thing is the levy money goes to gambling harm research which sounds good on paper but in practice its just another tax on gambling meanwhile the offshore sites dont pay a penny and can offer better value. creates perverse incentives

    streamers fucked?

bout time tbh. tired of seeing kids getting brainwashed by fake money gambling streams. most of these streamers are just actors anyway playing with house money

    ai targeting vulnerable gamblers

the social media mining thing is what gets me. these companies probably know more about my emotional state than my own family does. scary to think ai can predict when im most likely to make bad decisions and then specifically target me during those moments

esports betting laws are such a mess

skin betting is where things get properly dodgy tho. technically not "real money" gambling so operates in complete grey area seen kids trading csgo skins worth hundreds on betting sites that dont verify age at all. parents think theyre just playing games while kids are basically gambling

Is Duelbits actually licensed anywhere or just using fake badges?

it matters when something goes bad. try getting your money back from an unlicensed site. at least with curacao you can file complaints even if they dont always help

Anyone else think most casinos are rigged beyond the normal house edge?

thats probably the smartest thing anyone has said here

Anyone else think most casinos are rigged beyond the normal house edge?

This is exactly why I only play live dealer games now. at least theres a real person dealing real cards. hard to rig that in real time though even then who knows what camera angles theyre using or if the shoes are marked
